I saw this little exercise on Stephanie's Life-Unexpectedly and thought that it would be fun to do. So here we go.... in no particular order
5 Things I have a passion for:
- family
- music
- lyrics
- computers/gadgets/graphics (that's the geek in me)
- cooking
5 Things I'd like to do before I die:
- enter a dance competition (Tango all the way!)
- learn another language - Italian or French --- or better yet, both
- write a book and have it published
- see my children grow up to be happy, responsible adults
- learn how to really code & start my own web design company
5 Things I say lot:
- Uh-huh....
- Did you hear what I just said?
- Hurry up!
- Love you honey (this is from my Baltimore days)
- I'm tired (because it's true)
5 Books I've recently read:
- Inferno by Dan Brown
- Divergent by Veronica Roth (yes...... I heart teen paranormal romance books)
- The Host by Stephanie Meyer (better written than the Twilight series - I'm Team Edward!)

ReplyDeleteI love all the books you listed and want to travel to all the places!
ReplyDelete:) I wish I could travel......maybe once the kids are older.
DeleteYou've read Divergent? *happy jig*
ReplyDeleteIt's my favourite series currently, apart from Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus! (It falls into dystopian genre, though.) I love how VR keeps the balance between the action and the romance in her books.
I know the Percy Jackson series.....I haven't read, but just saw the Sea of Monsters - I love this stuff. My favorite character is Four/Tobias. I'm starting City of Bones -- hoping to finish before I see the movie. :)
DeleteMaybe you should put a spoiler alert before "Four/Tobias" :D
DeleteI didn't like Mortal Instruments, though. Felt too unoriginal to me.
Oh my god, you saw the PJO movies first? Uh, maybe I should warn you, but they butchered the books. Totally. As a separate entity, the movies are okay, I guess. But read the books, if you can! They're amazing.
Love your fives, Julia! Thanks for letting me know that you did it! Should you ever make it over to Germany, let me know, we'd love to host you ;-)
ReplyDeleteStephanie, you are so kind! I would love to visit you.
DeleteI wanted to learn German in school but my mother made me learn Latin --- :( not so useful! haha
I'm tired too, sista! Tired to the bone. :/
ReplyDeleteLately I've been saying "It is what it is" a lot. I have no idea where it sprouted from, but it is what it is.
This was a great way to get to know you better. Great post!
